****PERFORMANCE TIMES / SCHEDULE T.B.D.
TRIBUTE STRING QUARTET – “The Rock and Pop String Quartet”
The Tribute String Quartet is a great fit for couples seeking unique music for their wedding. The group’s musical interpretations of artists like Hall N Oates, Elton John, Sam Cooke, and Journey make them stand out from the crowd. Their ability to create exclusive, custom arrangements of your favorite songs is unequaled in the world of wedding string ensembles. It’s like having your own personal mini orchestra for your wedding.
THE ENGAGEMENTS – “The premier ’80’s covering wedding band.” – Paper Mag
The Engagements cater to couples looking for a unique alternative to the typical, cookie-cutter wedding. This 10-piece band plays a ton of 80’s dance song covers, along with rare soul, Motown, plus lots of classic and alternative pop from every decade. Their set lists are full of songs that haven’t been played to death at weddings.
4:40 & 5:15pm – SOFT AS A PEAR – “If MTV and Nintendo got together in classical sax-flute duet form.”
Rachel & Joel’s epic combination of flute and saxophone create a sound tailor-made for wedding ceremonies, while their (unexpected) repertoire delivers the delicious, classic MTV- and gaming-inspired melodies you didn’t even know you wanted.
Billy Idol? Guns N Roses? Bell Biv Devoe? Legend of Zelda?! Game of Thrones??!!
Check, check, check, check, check. But they can also cover your J.S. Bach, your Mendelssohn, and many other classics to fill out your ceremony needs.
Tickets for the event at The Bell House in Gowanus, Brooklyn are $5 in advance and available here. The showcase follows Brooklyn’s best wedding fair, Wedding Crashers, (11:30am-3pm) at The Green Building and 501 Union.
***You can hitch a free ride from Buster (shuttle bus) between 2:45pm and 4pm to The Bell House.***
