Soft As A Pear began when classical musicians and husband-and-wife Rachel Leah Blumenthal and Joel Edinberg were asked to play at the wedding ceremonies of friends who were seeking something both personal and unique. They decided to break out of the traditional wedding box by arranging hard rock and punk songs for their instruments
Rachel & Joel’s epic combination of flute and saxophone create a sound tailor-made for wedding ceremonies, while their (unexpected) repertoire delivers the delicious, classic MTV- and gaming-inspired melodies you didn’t even know you wanted.
