“The Prenups were a high-energy band that led a good party. They were managed very capably by a professional who knew our venue already, and it was easy to communicate via email. This was especially important to us since we were overseas when planning the wedding!”

One of our friends even commented that she felt like she was at a concert because the Prenups were that good. Everyone was having such a great time that we extended our reception and had them play an extra 30 minutes.”

“The Prenups are awesome - we knew we wanted them to be at our wedding from a prior wedding they played at, and we booked our date only after making sure they were free. Ed was so helpful with everything prior to the wedding - from planning the songs to the timelines, he was super flexible and very accommodating. They were even cool with my husband getting up on the drums to play some songs. I don't think the Prenups could have actually been any more accommodating! They are not your typical "wedding band" which is exactly what we wanted and they kept everyone dancing all night! I hope to be at a wedding where they are playing soon again!! Thanks Prenups!”

"I plan on getting married at least once a year just so I can have a wedding where The Prenups are playing. I saw uncles with rebuilt knees dancing like they were made of helium and grandmothers, who usually only listen to Jay Z, getting a real groove on. It is the music of class and soul. A much needed break from the same old YMCA or robotic DJ. Real music for your wedding or event = prenups = you care.”

“Hands down, my favorite part of the reception! The band rocked and had everyone, young and old, on the dance floor. Great feedback from our guests. The band can read and engage a crowd. If you want a party, the Prenups are the band for you! Working with them was great- both the band and manager made it clear what to expect before booking- this isn't your typical wedding band, they are a band in 'real life'. They know their sound and aren't going to play something they can't make work. And why would we want them to?! Ed was so helpful with everything from the playlist and even helping choose our important dance songs! And worked with us on some of our stranger requests. This band is bad ass and just cool dudes. If you like their music, book them and don't hesitate- you will not be disappointed.”

Our guests have been raving about their performance for the past six months since our wedding. But the one thing we keep hearing over and over is “That band was amazing!” Unlike a lot of wedding bands, these guys are professional musicians in every sense. They were incredibly reliable, responsive to our needs, and flexible when it came to special requests. They also flat out rock. These are talented musicians who not only play great music, they know how to work a crowd and make sure everyone is having a great time. They will take your celebration to another level.”

“The Prenups absolutely rocked! If we could rate them all the way to 11, we would! We always knew we wanted a band for our wedding, but not the traditional feathered hair, matching suits, and “The Power of Love” wedding band. The Prenups bill themselves as the “anti-wedding” wedding band and we were immediately drawn to their power and energy and the simple fact that they are an exceptionally great band (and not just a great wedding band). We were working with a tight budget, but they were amazing and worked with us – even throwing in the sax! During the wedding, they kept the party going well into the night and read the crowd perfectly. At one point they started playing a slow song and when people began trickling off the dance floor, they stopped the song, commented on the crowd’s lack of interest, and immediately jumped into an awesome jam. Everyone came running back to the dance floor! Numerous guests have told us that this was the best wedding band they had ever heard or seen and we couldn't agree more! The Prenups went above and beyond our wildest dreams and we highly recommend them for any special event! They truly made our wedding the awesome party we were hoping for. Oh, they also DJ-ed our ceremony and cocktail hour! So cool.”

“The Prenups did an excellent job with our wedding, and were both professional and responsive throughout the process. They were on time and well prepared. Many of our guests made a point to compliment how good the music was. We had no interest in booking a Top 40 cover band, and the Prenups were more like a live concert of old Motown - type songs. They also presented several options as far as size of the band and horn section, etc. Everyone danced the whole time and we had a blast.”

“I knew I had some critics to impress when selecting a band for my wedding. My father-in-law and his friends, most of whom I had yet to meet, are a tough crowd and they would not settle for a simple wedding band. Knowing we wanted to hear predominantly Rolling Stones and Motown music, I stumbled across the Prenups. Like everyone told me, everything moves too fast on your wedding day and you barely remember it, but I will always remember people coming up to me telling me how much they loved the band and I knew they meant it. They played a ton of Rolling Stones, just like I asked and my favorite was "Changes" by David Bowie for the father/bride dance and the final song of the night. Brought the house down. I strongly recommend giving a look to The Prenups.”

“It's impossible to convey how great of a band The Prenups are. I've never seen a dance floor fill up so quickly and stay as packed as when they played at our wedding. The band read the crowd perfectly and set the tone for the whole night with a blend of Temptations, Rolling Stones, Ronettes, and J. Geils, among many others, that saw young and old people dancing side-by-side until the lights came back on. On top of all this, they were incredibly attentive and easy to talk to leading up to the wedding, even learning a handful of songs for us that, unsurprisingly, ended up sounding like something they'd been playing for decades. My wife and I, and countless guests, are now card-carrying members of The Prenups fan club, and cannot recommend them enough.”

My husband and I booked them for our wedding this summer and following the day of booking, Ed and the rest of the band were extremely responsive and helpful. Ed was a huge help in planning out the event flow and the band acted as our event Emcee which went seamlessly - they stuck to the schedule and filled in any lulls with a dance set. These guys are seriously talented and will turn your wedding into a concert and have EVERYONE on the dance floor! They are SO much fun. Our guests haven't stopped talking about these guys. Booking The Prenups for your wedding will be the best decision you make! We are already trying to figure out another event we can book them for!”

“The Prenups rocked our wedding. We wanted a band to play music from the 60s-70s - think Sam & Dave, Ray Charles, some Beatles, Stevie Wonder and other classic oldies. These guys fit that bill but we selected them because they seem to truly love this style of music. Some wedding bands seem to go through the motions when playing, but these guys play with soul. Friends took cards from the band and are considering them for their own wedding. In terms of administrative stuff, I found them to be professional and responsive. They were very flexible in terms of learning new songs - provided the songs fit their musical taste (ie, not playing any today's Top 40 hits). They were also generous with their time at the wedding, opting to continue playing if the dance floor had momentum as opposed to taking their breaks. Highly recommend these guys.”
