The Engagements, & Tribute Strings were awarded the coveted “Couples Choice Award” from WeddingWire for reviews that came in just before the pandemic. Many, many thanks to all of the clients who said nice things about us online for this!We continue to be amazed by all of the clients who choose us. Our clients choose us knowing each of our bands purposefully plays only those songs that can be delivered with sincerity. Heart and soul matters. Sincerity matters. That moment in the room, all together, matters to us. The song is important, but so is the energy of the band, the sensitivity to the moment, and the vibe in the room. We work closely with every client to sculpt a setlist that reflects the party they envision, and we strive for sincere, inspired moments throughout. It’s satisfying to look back at a year of unique moments, beginning with those outside-the-box clients who selected Lucy Music . Thank you!!!
Tribute String Quartet
We loved this wedding at one of our favorite venues, Brooklyn NY's Green Building.
My wedding was absolutely perfect, in no short part due to the amazing job by Tribute Strings. We were taking photos when they were practicing and everytime they started playing 'Where is my Mind' and 'Just Like Heaven' I just started crying. It was so amazing.. and Final Countdown was a HUGE hit. People were cheering.Thank you SO much for everything. We love you guys, seriously.xoShaye (& Nick)"

Tribute String Quartet's take on the 1980's classic A-ha "Take On Me" drew praise this week, not the least of which came from the band itself! With over 1700 shares, and 8000 likes, and 300 positive comments on Facebook, we think A-ha's fan base appreciated our group's version. We hope you do too!
The Tribute Strings were excited to be a part of the new Nicholas Kirkwood store opening in the West Village yesterday. The buzz was in the air, and the gracious hosts of the party, Anne Christensen of Glamour and Cecilia Dean of Visionaire, created a tasteful and elegant setting for the celebration. It was fun to take part in such an hotly anticipated event! The beautiful Marisa Tomei was one of our favorite guests to see. Thanks to Anne Christensen for inviting us to be a part, and congratulations to Nicholas Kirkwood!
Etsy.com welcomed Lucy Music’s own Tribute Strings into their Brooklyn offices today to perform for it’s staff and executives.
The occasion? The launch of Etsy Weddings – the official Etsy foray into the world of weddings.
The group scaled down to a trio to fit into Etsy’s busy offices, and performed covers of classic rock and pop hits like Hotel California, Bennie And The Jets, and the staff favorite – In Your Eyes.
